This building also completes the walkway, creating a juncture to the south as well as contributing to the architectural variety of our east-west walkway.

The interior of this building is made accessible to the walkway visually so that events inside will spill over and energize street life.

A generous shaped outdoor covered area is provided for the anticipated volume of users of this building. The program calls for an indoor gymnasium and other smaller sports halls, with offices above the pedestrian walkway.\

In order to break the scale and horizontal length of this building, the exit stairs were treated as a box containing curious objects. This building was attached to an existing sports hall, which we had designed earlier.
